Magda K Nutrition - Values
I thought today it would be great to explain the values behind Magda K Nutrition and tell you what you can expect from me and my work.
Being science-backed
The difference between my work and some of those who are in the health and nutrition space is that my work is backed up by science and held to the strict standards of the Association for Nutrition (AfN). The Association for Nutrition is a register that distinguishes qualified from unqualified individuals. As a Nutritionist, it is very important I uphold integrity in my work by making sure it is backed up by evidence so that you can trust the advice and knowledge I provide you.
Being objective
Nutrition and health can be highly individualised. What one person may deem as healthy may be different from someone else. Therefore, in my work, I strive to stay impartial. It is my job to help you make the right decisions for yourself, I am just here to help support you in doing that.
Being empowering
With society the way it is, full of absolute BS regarding nutrition and health, there has been a detrimental impact on people’s abilities to trust themselves regarding their health. By being exposed to all these restrictive diets, good and bad foods, etc, makes us doubt our own intuition. Then when people don’t know what is true or false, they feel lost and confused. By giving you trustworthy advice, I want to empower you to make your own decisions and feel confident to stand by them.
Being open to learning
The world of health is constantly expanding with research shows us new things each day. I love that it is ever-changing, with there always being something new to learn. It is my job as a Nutritionist to always be on the lookout for new developments so I can provide you with up-to-date advice.
I know that I am not perfect, and it will happen that I will make mistakes and slip from these standards. By outlining these standards, it empowers us both to say when things have gone wrong, so I can work on providing the best service to you.
